Founded by Paul J. Carter—a first-generation Jamaican-Barbadian American hailed from the Bronx, NY, raised in Maplewood, NJ—our mobile brand travels coast-to-coast, curating rare, exotic, non-alcoholic beverages that make you stop, sip, and say “Wow.”
We chase refreshment with attitude: from Jamaican tropical juices, global favorites, homemade blends and special finds like the 100% natural passion fruit lychee citrus-charged energy drink from England, “in its 20th year, disrupting the market by being the 1st 100% natural energy drink on the market, promoting healthy living”. Each flavor is discovered during real-world travel, then shared from behind coolers at festivals, carnivals, and pop-up events nationwide.
It all started at a wedding in Nairobi, Kenya in 2009. A bartender asked Paul if he’d ever had an exotic drink in a can. Skeptical but curious, he took a sip—and everything changed. The originality, the mystery, the global spark? He knew then that bold beverages had the power to transport.
A decade later, after years navigating global investment banking across New York, London, and Tokyo, Paul launched Beverages Without Borders in May 2019—just as the COVID era began. Jobless, hunger intact, he poured that energy into a dream: to build a life he loved, share flavors that inspired, and turn hustle into happiness.
